The FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry was established in the year 2000, it is recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and is affiliated with the University of Health Sciences (UHS). FMH College of Medicine and Dentistry is a centre of excellence for training talented students to obtain their Medical and Dental degrees. It has a purpose built campus located in Shadman, in the heart of Lahore.Fatima Memorial Hospital; a 31-year-old teaching hospital is located on campus for clinical training.

The College is part of the Fatima Memorial System, which constitutes the Fatima Memorial Hospital, Centre for Postgraduate Training, FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences,  Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing, and the ABNI (Anjuman e Behbood-e-Niswan-wa-Itfal) Community Outreach Program.

With the commitment of the sponsors and the dedicated efforts of the most highly qualified professionals who shared the vision of the Founders, Fatima Memorial Hospital (FMH) came into being in 1977, as a 200 bed Community Hospital for Women and Children. Three decades later, Fatima Memorial Hospital has matured into a full-fledged, multi-disciplinary, General Teaching Hospital catering to Men, Women and Children from all walks of life.

The success of the institution and its continuing evolution is largely due to the team work of highly skilled professionals who have joined the sponsors in upholding the mission of service to humanity.
