FMH Centre for Postgraduate Training is recognized for house job by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).College of Physicians & Surgeons (CPSP) also accredits five disciplines of Fatima Memorial Hospital for Post Graduate Training, which include:

1. Obstetrics & Gynaecology - FCPS (Full Accreditation) since 1995
2. Paediatrics Department - FCPS (Accreditation for 3 years) since 1995
3. Medicine Department - FCPS (Full Accreditation) since 2003
4. Surgery Department - FCPS (Full Accreditation) since 2004
5. Anesthesia Department - FCPS (Full Accreditation) since 2005

Each department has its own “Structured Training Program” which comprises of:

• A detailed monthly program which is chalked out by the end of previous month.
• Regular classes are held including Case Presentation, Lectures and Journal Club meetings.
• Mortality and Morbidity Meetings of all disciplines are held once every month collectively to review the cases.
• Monthly Perinatal Morbidity and Mortality Meeting is held by Paediatric & Gynaecology Department.
• Clinical Interactive Sessions of different sub-specialties of Medicine like CVS, endocrine, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, CNS, Nephrology, Gastroentrology, Liver and Internal Medicine are weekly held.
• In Anesthesia Department, apart from the assigned topics, rotation is carried out in different disciplines like Obstetrics/Gynae, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental Surgery, Adult ICU and Labour Wards. Case presentations in regional meeting of Pakistan Society of Anesthesia are also a regular feature.
• Regular Clinico Pathological Conferences are held on weekly basis, which have participation of all departments.
• Presently there are 26 FCPS trainees in Obstetrics / Gynae Department; 4 trainees in Paeds, 11 trainees in medicine, 9 trainees in surgery and 7 trainees in Anaesthesia Department.
