Welcome to FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences, a constituent of FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry.
Health care opportunities aren’t just limited to doctors, In addition to the physicians there are a myriad of professionals who care for the sick, administer hospitals and its diagnostic facilities, and assist elderly or physically challenged individuals. These are allied health professionals, and their job spans many areas of health care. The two words “Allied Health” stand for the largest group of health care providers.

The Allied Health Professionals are needed globally; they get very well paid jobs in Pakistan, Middle East and in developed Countries. They are highly respected, essential and critical to the healthcare delivery system.
I would like to thank and appreciate the Governor of Punjab Lt. Gen (Retd). Khalid Maqbool , HI, HI (M) and Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences, Lahore Prof. Malik Hussain Mubbashar, HI,SI, for giving their precious time and extending their full support for establishing B.Sc Allied Health sciences courses in Punjab Public and Private Medical Colleges.

THE DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE

Dr. Wajahat Bokhari graduated from Army Medical College in 1982. He did his post graduation in Medicine in 1986. He worked as Medical Specialists in five different tertiary Hospitals in Pakistan and abroad for ten years. In 1996 he did Health Management Course, since then he has held various senior health executive jobs in different hospitals. He joined Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry in its initial planning phase in October 2000. He played a key role as a founding team member in establishing FMH Medical and Dental College. He is presently working as the Vice-Principal of the Medical and Dental College and Director FMH Institute of Allied Health Sciences.
His experience of more than seven years in establishing Medical and Dental Colleges has facilitated him in establishing another quality Allied Health Sciences Institute with the support of highly qualified and dedicated Professionals.
